Eastern Washington Eagles at Wyoming Cowboys ATS Preview 12/12/17

The Eastern Washington Eagles (3-7) will try to put an end to their five-game road losing streak in a matchup against the Wyoming Cowboys (5-2) at Arena-Auditorium. The game is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

The game’s Over/Under (O/U) has been set at 152 points with Wyoming opening as an 11-point favorite.

In the Eagles’ last outing, they were defeated by the South Dakota Coyotes, 75-73. South Dakota’s 0.333 free throw rate was their largest advantage over Eastern Washington, who had a mark of 0.211. Bogdan Bliznyuk played well for Eastern Washington, putting up 18 points and nine rebounds.

The Cowboys defeated the Pacific Tigers in their last matchup, 86-72. Wyoming’s 0.613 effective field goal percentage was their largest strength over Pacific, who had a mark of 0.467. The Cowboys’ mark was above their season average of 0.501. With 18 points and 10 rebounds, Wyoming’s Hayden Dalton had a solid game.

Looking at effective field goal percentage, Wyoming figures to have a considerable advantage. Since last season, the Cowboys defense ranks 38th in effective field goal percentage allowed (0.459), while the Eastern Washington offense ranks 322nd in effective field goal percentage (0.531). Additionally, the Eagles rank 34th in turnover percentage (17.2 percent), while the Cowboys rank 307th in opponents’ turnover percentage (16.9 percent).
