Manhattan Jaspers at Siena Saints ATS Prediction

The Jaspers are trying to rebound after their 62-59 loss to the Marist Red Foxes in their last matchup. Marist’s 27.3 offensive rebounding percentage was their largest strength over Manhattan, who had a mark of 15.6. The Red Foxes’ mark was above their season average of 22.7, while the Jaspers’ was below their season average of 31.8. Zane Waterman put together a solid game for Manhattan, contributing 17 points and eight rebounds.

The last time the Saints played, they edged the Saint Peter’s Peacocks, 59-57. Siena won the rebounding battle. The Saints had 16 offensive rebounds and 53 total rebounds, while the Peacocks had six and 37, respectively. With 14 points and 10 rebounds, Ahsante Shivers had a solid performance for Siena.

It could be a sloppy game for the Siena offense. Siena ranks 336th in the NCAA in ball protection (turnover percentage of 22.5 percent), while the ball-hawking defense of Manhattan forces the 27th-most turnovers in the NCAA (22.9 percent).

Manhattan holds records of 10-13 straight up (SU) and 11-10 against the spread (ATS). Vegas tends to set the total high when the Jaspers are involved, as 16 of their 21 games have gone under the total.

Meanwhile, Siena is 7-16 SU and 6-9 ATS. Similarly to Manhattan, games involving the Saints also have typically gone under the projected point total (73.3 percent).

This will be the second game of the season between these two teams. Rich Williams scored a game-high 21 points in the first game, in which the Jaspers beat the Saints 72-61, covering as 6.5-point favorites. He also had five rebounds and five assists. The game finished with a total of 133 points, which was just 3.5 points below the projected point total of 136.5 points. The Jaspers’ 18.7 turnover percentage was their biggest strength over the Saints, who had a rate of 32.5.
