The Phillies’ Rhys Hoskins might still be running the bases after his home run off of the Mets’ Jacob Rhame on Wednesday night … OK, just kidding, but Hoskins sure took his time the night after Rhame threw two fastballs at his head. Meanwhile, Chris Davis still has his supporters, and superstars Alex Bregman and Mike Trout are heating up.
- Rhys Hoskins had the perfect way to get revenge on Jacob Rhame after he nearly took a 97 mph fastball to the head on Tuesday. He homered off of Rhame and then took his sweet time rounding the bases.
- Chris Davis recently went through the worst slump of any big leaguer in recent memory, but some Orioles fans never gave up on him. Of course, they waited until Davis started hitting again to let it be known.
- OK, Anne, this is pretty cool. And Mike Trout has a new buddy.
- It’s been kind of quiet, but Alex Bregman and the Astros are rolling again.

If you throw at Rhys Hoskins in one game, and he homers off of you in the next game—he’s going to take his time rounding the bases

The night after Jacob Rhame threw two pitchers near the head of Rhys Hoskins, Hoskins hit a home run off Rhame — and executed the slowest home run trot in the Statcast era. https://t.co/UZZqSRFfCv

My mom was so tired of people ripping on Chris Davis during his slump, she got this tattoo. She’s 59 and this is her first tattoo. @CrushD19 @orioles #Birdland pic.twitter.com/MwwUNaqqlC
