Undeniably, things just went from bad to worse for Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Reports surfaced shortly after Curry exited the game with the Phoenix Suns that Curry has a broken left hand.

The Golden State superstar injured his hand after hitting the court when driving to the hoop in the third quarter. During the play, he lost balance and came down bracing his fall with his arms. Here is video of the play:

First the Warriors will have Curry undergo a CT scan to assess the damage of the injury. Then, a determination will be made of whether or not surgery is needed.

Remember, Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr recently said that Klay Thompson will miss the entire season. Potentially, the impact of this injury could mean the Warriors end up a lottery team following this year.

However, none of us are predictors of the future or medical experts. Simply, we will have to see how things play out in the days to come. In regards to all fluid injury situations, we will have more to come on this as the storyline develops.

Finally, the Warriors look to be headed to a third loss on Wednesday night that would have the team starting the season with a 1-3 start.
