Arkansas Razorbacks at South Carolina Gamecocks Betting Prediction

In the Razorbacks’ last matchup, they defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores, 69-66. Arkansas’ 15.5 turnover percentage was their biggest advantage over Vanderbilt, who had a rate of 19.4. The Razorbacks’ mark was better than their season average of 16.2. Arkansas received a boost from Daniel Gafford, who was the top scorer from either team with 28 points on 9-for-14 shooting.

The Gamecocks were blown out by the No. 5 Kentucky Wildcats in their last contest, 76-48. Getting to the charity stripe was one of Kentucky’s largest strengths. They had 27 free throw attempts, while South Carolina had just 14. South Carolina’s Tre Campbell put together a solid game, leading the team in scoring with 12 points on 4-for-8 shooting.

After the Razorbacks won both meetings against the Gamecocks last season, this will be the first matchup of the year between these two teams. In the last game, Arkansas won 69-64. The Razorbacks knocked down 23 of their 26 free throws (88.5 percent) and had a better turnover percentage (18.8 vs. 22.1).

This has potential to be a sloppy game for the offense of South Carolina. South Carolina ranks 229th in the NCAA in ball protection (turnover percentage of 19.5 percent), while the disruptive defense of Arkansas forces the 31st-most turnovers in the NCAA (22.9 percent).
