Not Today!

St. Louis Blues’ fans used a famous line from a popular TV series “Game of Thrones” to describe their feelings after the last night’s 4-1 win over Dallas Stars. What do we say to the God of Elimination? Not today!

Zuccarello with the postgame update

Mats Zuccarello recorded an assist in Dallas Stars’ 4-1 defeat to St. Louis Blues but it wasn’t enough to avoid a loss and he said after the game that anything can happen in Game 7 and it’s definitely going to be very exciting.

"It's a Game 7. Anything can happen. It's something you dream of when you're a kid is to play a Game 7, so it's going to be exciting." pic.twitter.com/gNxwkN74iU

Stanley Cup action

Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues will decide a winner of the Western Conference semis series in Game 7 and it’s going to be the fifth edition of Game 7 between these rivals. The Blues won in 2016 and hold a 3-1 advantage overall but we will have to wait to see who will advance to the conference finals.

Lovely puck movement

Dallas Stars managed to tie the Game 6 at 1-1 through Tyler Seguin in the first period thanks to an assist from Mats Zuccarello and Jamie Benn and although they went on to lose the game, the puck movement was simply fantastic. You can check out the goal in this video.

Stanley Cup Playoff rating

San Jose Sharks beat Colorado Avalanche in Game 5 of the Western Conference semis but it’s interesting that this tilt delivered a higher rating in Denver than in San Jose. Namely, Denver delivered 9.1 rating, NBC Sports’ highest rating on record for an NHL game in the market. San Jose produced a 3.4 rating.

Last night’s late Stanley Cup Playoff @Avalanche @SanJoseSharks Game 5 delivered 0.75 overnight rating, up 75% vs game last year (Win-Nas; 0.58). Locally, Denver delivered 9.1 rating, NBC Sports’ highest rating on record for an NHL game in market. San Jose produced 3.4 rating.
