No Comeback for Gronk, Hooker Healed Up and More

Rob Gronkowski

If you have any notions that former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will return to the NFL, you can shut those down. Talking to reporters at a One Mission Buzz Off Kids at Gillette Stadium, Sunday, Gronk made it clear he won’t be returning to the sport that made him famous and may one day land him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Malik Hooker finally healthy

Indianapolis Colts safety Malike Hooker feels he’s healthier than he’s been since college as he and his team prepare to undertake the 2019 NFL campaign. Hooker, a first round pick in 2017 out of Ohio State, has played in just 21 games as a pro. Last year he recorded 44 tackles, four passes defended and two interceptions for the Colts.

C.J. Anderson excited to suit up for Lions

Journeyman running back C.J. Anderson feels like he’s finally found a home with the Detroit Lions. Anderson told reporters that he felt like he was “really wanted” by the Lions. Anderson has been a key player in two Super Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl 50 victory for the Denver Broncos. Last season Anderson played for the Carolina Panthers and was a late addition to the Los Angeles Rams on their Super Bowl campaign. He rushed for 403 yards and two touchdowns in 11 total regular season games.
