In the Kings’ last matchup, they topped the Utah Jazz, 119-110, as 9.5-point underdogs. The total points for the game (229) came in over the projected point total of 222. Sacramento was lights out from beyond the arc (11-25; 44.0 percent). Utah, meanwhile, did an excellent job of making free throws (22-31; 71.0 percent). De’Aaron Fox led the way for Sacramento, finishing with 17 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds.

The Warriors dismantled the Portland Trail Blazers in their last game, 125-97, despite being 1.5-point underdogs. The game’s total points (222) were just under the O/U total of 223.5. Golden State’s effective field goal percentage was their biggest advantage over Portland. The Warriors had a rate of 0.665 (above their season average of 0.556), while the Trail Blazers posted a mark of 0.457 (below their season average of 0.519). Kevin Durant was the top scorer from either team with 32 points on 13-for-21 shooting from the field.

From an effective field goal percentage perspective, Golden State figures to have a substantial advantage. The sharp-shooting Warriors offense ranks second in the NBA in that metric at 0.561, while the suspect Sacramento defense is ranked 24th in effective field goal percentage allowed (0.529).

Sacramento heads into the contest with records of 10-8 straight up (SU) and 11-7 against the spread (ATS). Of the Kings’ 18 games, 11 have gone over the projected point total.

Golden State has a solid 13-7 SU record, but they are just 8-11 ATS. Unlike Sacramento, just over half of Warriors games have finished under the total.

Bogdan Bogdanovic has averaged 14 points over the last five games for Sacramento.

After splitting four games last season, these teams will clash for the first time this year. In the last contest, the Warriors won 112-96. The Warriors had a better turnover percentage (9.5 vs. 13.6) and had a better free throw rate (0.253 vs. 0.184).
